Liz James
NW Lewisham
18 months after two major operations, Liz started Nordic Walking at the end of 2017 in Lewisham. She liked it so much, she started to go out for walks on her own and joined other walking groups in the area.
In 2019, she trained as a NWUK walk leader and walked with slower walkers, who liked to take their time and take in the scenery.
Liz moved to Walthamstow in 2020, has been Nordic Walking nearly every day and has got to know the area where she lives well. She completed her NWUK instructor training in 2021.
Liz has returned to Lewisham and is a volunteer with Enable
